Corporate Finance

ICD/NCD.

An Inter-Corporate Deposit (ICD’s) is an unsecured loan extended by one corporate to another. This sector allows funds surplus Corporates to lend to other Corporates. Also the better-rated Corporates can borrow from the banking system and lend in this market. As the cost of funds for a corporate is much higher than a bank, the rates in this market are higher than those in the other markets. ICDs are unsecured, and hence the risk inherent is high. As the ICD market is not well organized and very little information is available publicly about transaction details, BrainEx facilitates best terms and conditions.

Convertible Debentures are convertible bonds or bonds that can be converted into equity shares of the issuing company after a predetermined period of time. Non-convertible debentures on the other hand, are debentures without the convertibility feature attached to them and hence are simply regular debentures but cannot be converted into equity shares of the liable company. As a result, they usually carry higher interest rates than their convertible counterparts.

BrainEx provides an outstanding opportunity to procure the best transactions in these sectors.
